September already???

August was great- I did my first public talk at StFYC, got out sailing a fair bit, started sailing with STAR, a Melges 32 that I’ll be doing Big Boat and Worlds on for the next few weeks…. what else…
The mini’s on hold, sort of, right now… I didn’t want to put it together and be paying high storage fees for the next month when I won’t be sailing it at all, so it’s in pieces still at RYC. Post 32 Worlds, I go back to the east coast for 10 days, then it’s ON again. I’m thinking of doing my 1000 SH qualifier miles down to Cabo or something this winter, Christmas in Mexico? Why not?
OH and I just received my first major chunk of financial support from a foundation- so that feels pretty awesome… just when I was starting to feel pretty dismal about the financial state of things…
And I’ve been climbing a bunch, and am late to meeting someone at the gym right now, so more later!
